Shipping
When you order with us online, we offer free shipping in the Netherlands. For shipping outside of the Netherlands we will charge shipping costs. All items will be shipped from our Showroom in Bussum, the Netherlands.
We insure all packages against theft and accidental damage while in transit. Once the package is delivered and signed for, we are no longer liable. Orders cannot be delivered to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
For all international orders, please note that the consumer is responsible for any tax and duty fees on orders required to go through customs. We are unable to pre-calculate this fee for you as the cost is determined by each country’s customs. Nassau Tailors is not responsible for any delays caused by any customs clearance procedures in the country of destination. If you are having trouble placing your order or want to know the time frame for delivery, please email info@nassautailors.com. We will do everything we can to help you.
All Nassau Tailors items are made-to-order, meaning that the production time is 4 weeks after your place an order. Once your order has arrived in The Netherlands, we will notify you and aim to dispatch your order from our showroom within 24 hours of the arrival. Upon dispatch you will receive an email notification with estimated delivery time and tracking details. Shipping will take between 2-3 business days.
To check the status of your order please email us at info@nassautailors.com. Please include your order number and a we will get back to you with a status update within 24 hours, Monday - Friday.
Returns
Standard products
When purchasing standard products on our Website, you have the right to dissolve the contract, without giving reasons, during a period of 30 days. Nassau Tailors is allowed to ask for the reason of this dissolution, but the Customer is under no obligation to state his/her reason(s).
Made-to-measure or made-to-order products
Although legally no right of withdrawal applies to contracts for the delivery of goods which have been produced according to the customer’s specifications or have been customised to meet personal requirements, Nassau Tailors offers its Customers, the limited right to have the product(s) altered by a local tailor free of charge in the event the product(s) do(es) not fit the Customer, within 14 days after the order has been delivered to the customer. Only in the exceptional event an alteration by a local tailor is not possible, will Nassau Tailors offer its Customers the possibility of having the product(s) remade free of charge. This right can explicitly not be used in such a way that several products are ordered to choose from and part of the order is returned. Acceptance of a return under this clause is to the discretion of Nassau Tailors, and Nassau Tailors shall not be obliged to accept the return of customer made products, except for when the reason of the return is directly resulting from a fault of Nassau Tailors.
The period of 30 days stated in this clause (“Return Period”) commences on the day after the product was received by the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer, who is not the transporting party, or:
if the Consumer has ordered several products: the day on which the Consumer, or a third party designated by the Customer, received the last product. Nassau Tailors may refuse a single order for several products with different delivery dates, provided he clearly informed the Customer of this prior to the ordering process.
if the delivery of a product involves different deliveries or parts: the day on which the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer, received the last delivery or the last part.
During the withdrawal period, the Customer shall treat the product and its packaging with care. The Customer shall only unpack or use the product in as far as necessary in order to assess the nature, characteristics and efficacy of the product. The Customer may only handle and inspect the product in the same way that he would be allowed in a shop; for fitting purposes. The Customer is explicitly not allowed to wear the products for any other purpose than fitting purposes and/or outdoors. The Customer is liable for the product’s devaluation that is a consequence of his handling the product other than as permitted in this clause 10.
A Customer who wants to exercise his right of return as set out in this clause, shall report this to Nassau Tailors, within the Return Period, by means of the return form provided by Nassau Tailors.
As quickly as possible, but no later than 14 days after the day of reporting as referred to in clause 13, the Customer shall return the product, or hand it over to (a representative of) Nassau Tailors. The Customer returns the product with all relevant accessories, if reasonably possible in the original state and packaging, and in accordance with the instructions provided by Nassau Tailors.
The risk and the burden of proof for exercising the right of return correctly and in time rest upon the Customer. The Customer bears the costs of returning the product.
FAQ
We do offer 4 types of appointments: regular made-to-measure appointment, wedding outfit appointment, on location service at your home or office or an orientation. This can be in store or online.
Preferably we work with appointments being made due to the fact we can prepare for it. This also works better because we’re also measuring and fitting on location often so the showroom isn’t occupied. Of course, if we’re in the showroom, just come in and we can sit down.
Of course, it is possible to bring a friend or partner to your booked time. If he would like to be measured as well, please let us know in advance. If you’re taking more than 3 people to the appointment, let us know before because of limited space.

Normal delivery time for most of our items is around 3-4 weeks. Handmade suits and shirts take one week longer.
You can either pick it up or we send it to your preferred location. Delivery in person is possible after consultation.
Made-to-measure items can not be returned.

This depends on the times you wear it, how long you have it and what the more ‘wear and tear’ spots are on the product. It also has to do with the chosen fabric.
If you take care of your items and not taking your suits, jackets and shirts to the dry-cleaner all the time you’re doing a good job. Find more info on our Garment Care page in the footer.

The measuring itself differs from product to product but a suit regularly take around 20-30 minutes to measure. A shirt roughly 10 min and the same for chino’s, denim and knitwear.
Yes you can. This can be done via our Tailoring shop. If you want something outside this offer or a suit, jacket or trousers, reach out via email, telephone or whatsapp.

ROBBIE & TIM
Tim started his working experience at Oger in Amsterdam after graduating at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. He specialized himself in the field of made-to-measure and after leading the department for several years he continued his career at an international supplier of made -to-measure garments.
Robbie had a similar line in his career. During his bachelor he started as a sales advisor at various locations of Suit Supply in The Netherlands. After graduating Fashion & Textile Technologies, he continued his career at the same international supplier of made-to-measure garments.
After a few years, they joined forces because of their shared vision on the made to measure industry. They opened a shop in Bussum where their long-lived dream became reality.
CLAUDINE
Two years after opening their first showroom, Robbie & Tim have expanded their business by opening their second showroom together with new partner Claudine in Enschede. Claudine turned out to be the perfect fit for opening and leading the store in the east of the Netherlands as she was born and raised there with a strong affection for clothing, fabrics and customer service.
Claudine and Robbie used to work together for a premium brand in Enschede back in 2012. They always stayed in touch and therefore Claudine followed the journey of Nassau Tailors very closely. She saw a big potential for opening a store in Enschede and in October 2023 the moment was there.
